Our Nurse Educator will be providing FREE skin cancer spot checks and melanoma education at Westfield Newmarket in Auckland, from Friday 23 October to Sunday 25 October, from 10am to 4pm. Community event – all welcome.
What happens
A trained melanoma Nurse Educator looks at up to three spots you are unsure about. The check is non-invasive and takes about five minutes, and you leave knowing what to watch for.
It is not a full-body check and it is not a diagnosis. Keep having regular full-body skin checks with your GP, a dermatologist, a surgeon or a plastic surgeon.
No appointment needed
Spot checks are first come, first served. On a busy day there can be a wait.
