Our Nurse Educator will be providing FREE skin cancer spot checks and melanoma education at Chartwell Shopping Centre in Hamilton, from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, from 10am to 4pm. Community event – all welcome.
What happens
A trained melanoma Nurse Educator looks at up to three spots you are unsure about. The check is non-invasive and takes about five minutes, and you leave knowing what to watch for.
It is not a full-body check and it is not a diagnosis. Keep having regular full-body skin checks with your GP, a dermatologist, a surgeon or a plastic surgeon.
No appointment needed
Spot checks are first come, first served. On a busy day there can be a wait.
